Al,
We rode the bus together
in my dream last night,

although I haven't seen you
since the 15-year reunion.

I loaned you my iPod
so you could hear

three previously undiscovered
Monkees tracks

(although I called them The Beatles)
I downloaded from the Internet

Then my alarm rang;
I had to get up.

I need that iPod back
for my morning commute.
